Junior Music School is a new music school designed to encourage children to reach their musical potential. Guided by the belief that all children are born with the gift of music, they support children’s musical education and exam preparation. Aiming to develop the natural talents and musical skills of their students from as young as 2 years of age. Students can gain tuition in piano, singing, guitar and violin. Children ages 8-12 will have the opportunity to join classes as part of a band and even get to perform in concert. Why not book a free trial?

Give your children the giggles every Monday with free comedy classes for kids at St Margaret’s House in Bethnal Green. Children will learn everything from sketch to stand-up to clowning, and even improvisation. At the end of the course, students will be showing off their skills at the Gallery Café, and in the comedy club The Albany in Camden

Drama & Musical Theatre classes for kids ages 2.5-16 years in Wapping. Weekly classes held after school or at weekends, helping children learn to express creativity, communicate emotions, team work skills, confidence and self-esteem and most importantly have fun.

Musical Theatre

Pollyanna Musical Theatre classes for kids are a fun mixture of drama, singing and dance with performances twice a year, aimed at improving self-esteem, focus, creativity and co-ordination.

These Lamda (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) accredited sessions work towards entry for examinations from the Lamda syllabus in acting, poetry or Shakespeare.

Children will learn a variety of dance styles with a focus on picking choreography and building a repertoire of dance routines.

Baby Dance

This popular class, led by Lisa Robbins, provides babies with a movement, sensory, rhythmical experience in a playful environment supported by their parent or carer who are also active participants in the class.

Toddler Ballet

Ages 2-4yrs with parents/carers Mondays 10- 10.45am, 11am – 12pm & 12pm – 1pm 6th Jan -16th March (halfterm break)

Explore ballet with imaginative exercises that will develop coordination, musicality, grace, posture and poise, enabling children to enjoy the social and physical benefits of ballet in a safe and positive environment. We welcome all boys and girls to come and join these fun and interactive creative ballet classes.

Theatre Skills

Ages 2-4 yrs Saturdays 9.30am – 10.30am 13th Jan -23rd March (halfterm break)

An energetic class exploring theatre skills with fun exercises and games that will develop communication skills, imagination and confidence and allow the children to enjoy the social and fun elements of theatre.

Youth Theatre

Ages 9-13 yrs Saturdays 1pm – 3pm 13th Jan -23rd March (halfterm break)

Working with local theatre-makers, Youth Theatre participants will expand their drama skills by taking part in theatre exercises, drama games and a performance in a professional studio theatre. Have fun, gain new skills, build confidence and devise an ensemble play to perform to an audience of friends and family.

Kiddikicks offer lively and fun football classes in Victoria Park for children from as young as 18mths! Their classes run all year round going from outdoor park sessions in the summer to indoors when the weather gets colder. Indoor season runs November to March and outdoor season runs April to October.

Chisenhale Dance Space offers fantastic movement classes for kids. Children start dance tuition from as young as 2 years at Chisenhale Dance Space in fun and bonding sessions with their grownups. A great way to keep children active in a non-competitive space as they develop their confidence and a love for movement.

Mini Movers

Mini Movers classes start at 2yrs, with adults and children discovering the joy of movement together through play and creativity.

Leaps & Strides

Leaps and Strides Creative Movement classes develop technique and alignment, while emphasising self-expression.

Children work on longer sequences to develop rolls, turns, jumps, timing, and technique with the emphasis always on fun and discovery. Children will begin solo and group work developing improvisation along with performance skills.

Contemporary and Street Dance

Choose between Contemporary and Street Dance classes teaching flexibility, and strength while developing their preferred style and physical confidence.

Ages 8-12 yrs Saturdays 11am -12pm

Classes run every Saturday during term time. Tasters are £5 on your first visit, course bookings start at £36 (concessions available).

Try Time Vicky Park uses highly creative games to ensure that every child is entertained and engaged the entire class. Their coaches love to entertain the kids while they teach them sports skills. Not only will children learn great sportsmanship skills like teamwork, respect and discipline, they’ll also learn how to handle a little healthy competition.

Sensory Exploration Sessions with FEEL Theatre

Join FEEL Theatre for weekly Sensory Exploration Sessions for babies. Babies love to explore with their senses (especially their mouths!) and at FEEL Theatre they believe that sensory play is amazing for brain development, as well as stimulating, and a lot of fun! Each week your baby will explore different textures, smells, tastes, and learn about cause and effect.

Drama Club with MOTH Physical Theatre

Ages 4-8 yrs Tuesdays 4pm -5pm

Would your children like to try drama but fear stepping up on the stage? Fear no more! Join Charlie Irwin, actor, teacher and co-founder of Moth Physical Theatre, in these fun-filled, pressure free, drama classes for kids which seek to develop skills and build confidence.

East London Children’s Choir

Ages 7-11 yrs Tuesdays 4:15-5:30pm

Join musical director, Jonathan Pease, and sing your heart out every week in this new children’s choir!

Through games, harmony singing and warm-ups, Jonathan will lead this new children’s choir for all those budding young singers out there. Focusing on different genres of music including pop, classical and musical theatre, it’s the perfect after school activity. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t sung in a choir before, as long as you love singing and are up for having some fun! Everyone is welcome.

Street Dance

Ages 6-12 Mondays 4pm-5pm
