Locally Sourced Vegan Food & Family Activities

A local treasure, The Gallery Café have won Best Café in Bethnal Green at the Time Out Love London Awards three times!

It’s easy to see why locals love The Gallery Café. Along with delicious vegan food, great coffee, healthy juices and yummy treats, they also host live events and art exhibitions from up-and-coming artists. As St. Margaret’s House’s largest in-house community project, all profits generated by the café go straight back into St. Margaret’s House.

That means simply by meeting up at the Gallery Café and enjoying delicious food and drink, you’ll also be supporting some great community arts and wellbeing projects. Their schedule of events includes some fun things for your family to do like Baby Yoga and FREE Piccolo Classical Music Concerts.

With fresh food and quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, they’re also champions of sustainability. You’ll love their coffee from Allpress in Dalston, a roastery serving local artisan single-origin coffee. As they work to reduce the use of disposable plastics, they encourage customers to bring their own containers and only use recyclable cups and boxes for takeaways.

We had a lovely chat about getting some toys out for little ones to play with in their back garden this spring. Sounds like a great recipe for a fabulous morning with the babas basking in the sunshine of their sun trap terrace!
