If you are searching for a baby cinema experience with a difference in East London look no further than Shoreditch Electric Scream.

The Shoreditch Electric Scream started in early 2015, following the popularity of baby screenings at its sister cinema, the Electric Portobello. The screenings are open to parents and carers and babies under one year old and take place every Tuesday morning.

The cinema seats 50. Each chair has its own cashmere blanket and side table, ideal for bottles, other baby paraphernalia or snacks. Food and drinks are available from the fully licensed deli-bar and coffee station in Barber & Parlour on the floor above.

The films are shown with sound and subtitles (in English) so you can still follow the plot even if multiple babies are crying. There is also low lighting on to make it easier to feed and find your baby kit.

The venue has a lift so is accessible for those with buggies. At the time of writing, the lift was being repaired but there was and will be an Electric Cinema staff member on site to help with buggies.
