Leaving us locals a lasting legacy, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Newham has now re-opened after its memorable London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What Can You Do At Queen Elizabeth Park?

There’s tonnes to do in the park including four themed walking trails to explore the key sights of the London 2012 Games, new interactive water fountains, wild flower meadows and venues like The Aquatics Centre and the Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre are now open to the public.

Queen Elizabeth Park for Kids

The boldly designed Tumbling Bay Playground at the north of the park features rock pools, sand pits, tall tree houses, and wobbly bridges, as well as slides, swings and more.

The nearby Timber Lodge is home to the Unity Kitchen, which offers reasonably prices food and drink seven days a week including brunch at the weekends.
