Set to the backdrop of Canary Wharf’s twinkling towers and enchanting greenery, the ice rink is the perfect place for ice skating in London this Winter. Practice your Tourville and Dean routine right up until the 16th of February!

Winter Lights

Why not book an evening of ice skating with the Winter Lights display? This extravaganza of all things twinkly returns to Canary Wharf for the 5th year. Be dazzled by some of the most imaginative and exciting international artists working with light art today. The festival draws upon state-of-the-art light technology to deliver spectacular artworks, installations and experiences – many of them interactive or responsive – and has continued to gather pace with bigger and brighter installations every year.

Tower Bridge

Celebrating the Millenium

To celebrate the start of a new year, this month’s family activities at Tower Bridge will look back to the turn of the century, the year 2000, when London welcomed in the new millennium with a huge firework display. Families are invited to help create a giant Tower Bridge fireworks picture. Open to all ages but perfect for children aged 6-10

All participating families will receive a Family Activities Pass, entitling you to free entry to Tower Bridge on any Family Activities Day in the next six months.

Baby Sensory with Feel Theatre

Baby sensory play sessions with Feel Theatre for babies from birth to crawling.  Babies love to explore with their senses (especially their mouths!) and at FEEL Theatre they believe that sensory play is amazing for brain development, as well as stimulating, and a lot of fun! Each week your baby will explore different textures, smells, taste and learn about cause and effect.

Please arrive to each workshop with your baby prepared to get messy and parents/carers should be prepared to get a little messy too!

Big Fish Little Fish: Pirates family rave

Set sail with the award winning, world famous Big Fish Little Fish crew as they bring their pioneering family rave to the museum. Children and their parents will be invited to dance on a floor filled with bubbles, balloons, glitter and a parachute, and get hands on with arts and crafts. Fancy dress encouraged. £10 for adults, £7 for children, £0 for pre-walking children

London Folktales for Children

Celebrate the launch of the book ‘London Folktales for Children’ with a magical day of storytelling, music and song. Discover folktales from London’s past and present, sing London songs and explore what it means to be a Londoner through interactive storytelling sessions and performances. 30 minute storytelling sessions at 12pm and 3.30pm. At 2pm there will be an hour of folktale filled fun, with music, tales and opportunities to get involved. No tickets required, just turn up at the start of the session.
