George Irvings Ultimate Fun Fair

All the fun of the fair on our doorstep! George Irvings Fun Fair returns the 13th-16th of September and promises a great distraction from your children’s back to school hum drum. Cotton candy, choo choo trains, flying elephants, what more could your little one ask for…apart from that impossible to win prize!

Bow Beasties

Bow Beasties, the monthly wildlife watch club for the whole family at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park! Join Ken and Zoe (along with their two children) for an exciting range of environmental / outdoor activities that celebrate the seasons and the wildlife that can be found within London’s most urban woodland.  This weekend it’s all about bulb planting & seed gathering.

When: Saturday, 15th September, doors open at 10am for a prompt start at 10.30am. Finishes 12.30pm

Harvest Stomp

See the summer out in style with free activities and fun for the whole family! The Harvest Stomp returns September 23rd for another year! Expect to find a variety of interactive activities, from learning how to brew beer to petting sheep in the mobile farm – there is something for everyone to enjoy. Come hungry as there will also be some yummy food on offer.

  • A main stage with live music and dance, including performances from the Belles of London City and License to Ceilidh.
  • Arts and craft stalls and activities
  • An interactive mobile farm, with sheep, kune kune pig, ducks, chickens, goats and more
  • A packed programme of workshops, demonstrations and entertainment
  • Indulge in some bread and jam at the jamboree
  • Traditional garden games
  • Micro-brewery demonstrations with students from University College London

When: Sunday 23rd September from 12 midday – 6pm.

Disco Loco’s Space Masquerade

Disco Loco is back in the Hackney Showroom this September 30th kicking off their Autumn season of events for all the family. Three hours of music and dancing under the stars hosted by MC Chu-i and DJs Emilia Harmony, Reverend Milo Speedwagon & Mark Rostron. Children can get creative with mask making and participate in an ultra fun masquerade parade finale!

Halfmoon Theatre

The Halfmoon Theatre reopens their doors with some delightful performances for young audiences this September.
ButterfliesAn uplifting tale of friendship and courage for ages 3-8. Three friends embark on an adventure to chase their butterflies away.

When: Fri 21 Sep – 10.30am & 1.30pm / Sat 22 Sep – 11am & 2pm

Need a Little Help- A show for ages 2-7 based on the experiences of young carers, the piece explores what it means to look after someone else when you are young. In a playful and immersive space, the young audience will help the performers look after each other, stepping into the shoes of young carers.

Stratford Circus

The Autumn season kicks off with Kokers, a super fun interactive performance with pre and post production play. Cardboard tubes, playful choreography and percussive sound combine to form a show perfect for both the young and the young-at-heart.
