KoKers Kicks off the Autumn Season at Stratford Circus

A spectacular show for ages 3 and up about how working together can maximise fun is coming to Stratford Circus, Saturday the 29th of September. KoKers will wow and inspire your little ones to create and play together in exciting new ways!

Performers will combine cardboard tubes, playful choreography and percussive sound to form a show perfect for both the young and the young-at-heart.

In KoKERS inventive landscapes are built and broken apart as the dancers balance, flip, throw, twirl and jump around the playground they have created. In this satisfyingly simple performance, the dancers soon realise that the most fun is to be found when they combine forces.

Gaia Gonnelli, Artistic Director of Dutch company Dadodans, is well known for her ambitious and spirited work that encourages children to use their own imaginations.

Cardboard Creativity & Cooperation

One of the best ways to encourage your children to cooperate with others is to allow them to play freely with open ended toys with other children their age. Before and after each performance of KoKers, your little ones will have the chance to satisfy their construction compulsions with free art activities.

Cardboard is a fantastic unstructured toy that all children love to use to make things.  Allow play to emerge organically and give them space to work out problems. You might be surprised at how well they resolve their differences. The skills they will learn from this kind of free play will help to set them up for a life time of collaboration with others.
