Fundamental Learning

Sometimes our children need a little extra help to grasp difficult concepts but with large class sizes, teachers sometimes struggle to give each student the attention they need. If your child is falling behind and their confidence is suffering it could be time to enlist the help of tutors.

Omamerhi founded Fundamental Learning with a mission to help every student realise their full potential in academia and beyond. Fundamental Learning aims to be a pioneer in delivering out-of-school supplementary education with a holistic approach. Currently, students will receive teaching to develop their literacy and numeracy skills in order to see improvement in school attainment through SATs and GCSEs results.

Tutors work in small groups of no more than six students so your child will get lots of individual attention.

Fundamental Learning works to build confidence by:

  • Breaking the information down to digestible chunks.
  • Providing regular and consistent feedback.
  • Giving plenty of positive reinforcement.

As students grow in confidence, Fundamental Learning fosters their independence.  They believe in helping children not only with academics, but also with soft skills like good communication and a positive attitude.

All tutors have undergone an Enhanced DBS Check.

  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience in an educational environmental.
  • Current undergraduate/postgraduate/graduate of a top-tier Russell Group university.
  • Passionate about aiding students to develop their academic confidence.
  • See the unlimited potential within each and every student.

“Omamerhi tutored my 16 year old son for 4 months in preparation for his Maths GSCE. She was very enthusiastic, punctual, professional yet friendly and easy to talk to. The sessions were structured well and Omamerhi kept me informed of my son’s progress. Homework was set and she was also available outside of the lesson.” – JC

“Really pleased have been looking for a tutor for a while. Very professional.” – Mohammed

“Omamerhi is very punctual. Her teaching methods are easy to comprehend for the children resulting in the children getting good grades. Ever since she started teaching the children I have been seeing massive improvement in their schoolwork and homework. She has helped them revise for their tests and also gives them additional homework which helps them become busy.” – Lola
