Become a mini archeologist and uncover clues from the past in Time Tunnellers this summer. These free sessions are taking place at Museum of London Docklands this August every Wednesday and Friday 2nd – 30th August 2017.

Time Tunnellers at Museum of London Docklands

Visit Museum of London Docklands and immerse yourself in the world of British history in Time Tunnellers. The special interactive performances have been created to co-incide with the museum’s latest exhibition Tunnel: The Archaeology of Crossrail.

Chose from the under 5s or over 5s sessions get exploring. There are two shows offered for each age group – pre-booking recommended.

Children can don their hard hats and pick up their shovels and get to work as they become archaeologists and uncover clues from London’s hidden past.

This summer is the last chance to catch the free exhibition Tunnel: The Archaeology of Crossrail.

Visitors can explore the fascinating objects found along the route of the new Elizabeth line in this family-friendly, interactive exhibition. Grab a microscope and discover London’s past and future. Find out what was sold in Victorian glass factories by sniffing smell boxes, build a tunnel out of foam blocks and much more. Running daily until 3rd September for all ages.
