London Bubble Theatre Company

London Bubble theatre company stages Tales from the Arabian Nights outside this summer; coming to Southwark Park (1 – 6 August) and Greenwich Park (9 – 14 August) 2017. We have a family ticket up for grabs for one THMs reader*.

Tales from the Arabian Nights is a re-telling of One Thousand and One Nights – a collection of iconic and much loved Middle Eastern and South Asian folk stories compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age.

Tales from the Arabian Nights was created by playwright Farina Sheik for The Bubble theatre company in 1994, and is now being re-imagined for summer 2017.

The play will performed under London’s night sky in Southwark Park and Greenwich Park this August. All ages are invited to come and experience this engaging theatre performance which will take you on a journey through the parks. Audiences coming to see Tales from the Arabian Nights are welcome to bring their whole family, including babes in arms or children in buggies, plus any pets who might enjoy a trip to the park.

The set and backdrops have been created by Japanese designer Yasuko Hasegawa who was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
