Ice Rink Canary Wharf

With just 16 magical weeks of ice skating in the picturesque surroundings of Canada Square Park there is no time like the present to perfect your form..or at least stop yourself face planting!

A new route this year, will lead you to serenely glide underneath the park’s enchanting canopy of trees. With a great selection of restaurants and shops, Canary Wharf could be a much more fun and less stressful alternative to the inner London hustle and bustle.

Ice Skating at The Tower of London

Skate within the grounds of Tower Hamlets very own castle, the Tower of London provides a magnificent backdrop for forging some unforgettable family memories together as you bumble and glide over the ice.

Whilst off the ice, food and drink is brought to you by The Pie Man of Chelsea Green with a cozy selection of simple seasonal food including homemade sausage rolls, pies and sausages, tasty vegetarian options and homemade cakes.

Drink in a measure of history with your hot chocolate or mulled wine and chase away the winter chills.

Dates: Daily until the 2nd January 2018. Closed Christmas Day.


Greenwich Wintertime Festival

Take your family ice skating amongst the great naval history of London, from the Old Royal Naval College to the Cutty Sark and the banks of the River Thames,  a 360 degree view that will you have you spinning on the ice just to take it all in. Look out Torville and Dean!

With a full calendar of events, a Christmas Market and a Father Christmas launch pad, Greenwich Wintertime Festival promises a relaxed and intimate festive outing.

Dates: Evenings and weekends from 1st December-16th December, then daily until the 31st December. Closed Christmas Day


SkyLight Roof Top Ice Skating

Reach for the dizzying heights of Tobacco Dock’s rooftops for Apres Skate with an unobstructed view to some of East London’s landmark architecture. A great night out without the kids with DJ nights and street food but also one for the family with Ice Hockey penalty games to play along with ice skating of course, and chocolate or cheese fondue!

After skating, get cozy with your family nestled under fluffy blankets in the heated marquee deck up above the city and smugly watch the hustle and bustle down below.
